Dr. HABARUREMA Sylvain

Dr. Habarurema Sylvain is an established and skilled physician with over 12 years of experience in medical practice .He is a graduate of University of Rwanda where he obtained his medical degree in 2010 then went worked at Kigeme hospital where he worked for 2 years.

His residency was at University of Rwanda where he successfully completed his training in Internal Medicine in 2016.He has been appointed as an internal medicine Specialist at Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de BUTARE (CHUB) since 2016 up to now .In 2018 he was recognized by the Rwanda Medical and Dental Council as a Consultant.

Dr HABARUREMA Sylvain is a devoted physician with intention to always offer the best care to his patients. He is interested in infectious and neurological diseases.

Dr HABARUREMA contributed in a number of research works such as SHARED -3 and OSCAIL Studies .He is National trainer in the treatment of viral hepatitis.

He is currently Head of Department of Internal Medicine at CHUB .In addition to that he is the chairperson of Hospital Joint Clinical Services Advisory committee, Member of Policy, Procedure Committee and member of Palliative committee at CHUB .He is also a Lecturer at University of RWANDA.

Dr HABARUREMA S.enjoys spending his time with his family and participating in his church activities .He is a “Born –again, Saved “and enjoys listening to Gospel musics in his spare time.
