Research Directorate responsibilities

To provide governing framework to ensure that all research projects reviewed, approved and/or implemented at CHUB are assessed for quality and ethical acceptability: risk management as well as safety and privacy of participants.

To Coordinate the activities of the ethics and research committees to ensure all research activities in CHUB are incorporated and synchronized.

To maintain the mechanism and the process of research activities to ensure compliance with relevant codes, guidelines and best practice.

To plan and implement the research related training plan.
Researchers' responsibilities:
- To protect the participants’ information and provide free informed consent
- Protect participants from harmful practice during research projects implementation
- To comply with all regulations and laws governing research activities locally, nationally and internationally.
- To provide evidences that all research team members are qualified to perform safely all duties assigned to them during the study
- To promptly report any conflict of interest and/or research misconduct to the REC.
- To share the research findings with CHUB
