Director of Research

Research Directorate responsibilities

  • To provide governing framework to ensure that all research projects reviewed, approved and/or implemented at CHUB are assessed for quality and ethical acceptability: risk management as well as safety and privacy of participants.

  • To Coordinate the activities of the ethics and research committees to ensure all research activities in CHUB are incorporated and synchronized. 

  • To maintain the mechanism and the process of research activities to ensure compliance with relevant codes, guidelines and best practice.

  • To plan and implement the research related training plan.

         Researchers' responsibilities:

  • To protect the participants’ information and provide free informed consent
  • Protect participants from harmful practice during research projects implementation
  • To comply with all regulations and laws governing research activities locally, nationally and internationally.
  • To provide evidences that all research team members are qualified to perform safely all duties assigned to them during the study
  •  To promptly report any conflict of interest and/or research misconduct to the REC.
  • To share the research findings with CHUB
